Thomas Allen

Thomas was born in April 1733 in Hackensack, Bergen County, NJ and his baptism took place on April 15th, 1733. Thomas' father was John Allen and his mother was Maritie Ackerman. His paternal grandparents were John (Jan) Ellen and Anna Haldron; his maternal grandparents were Lodowyck Ackerman and Hillegond Bosch. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Abraham, Angenietje, Hillegond and Marytjen. He was the fifth oldest of the six children.
