John and Maritie were married in a religious ceremony on March 21st, 1724 in Dutch Reformed Church, New Amsterdam. They had three sons and three daughters, named John, Abraham, Thomas, Angenietje, Hillegond and Marytjen.

Male John Allen
John was born in March 1709 in New York City, New York and his baptism took place on March 30th, 1709 in New York.  He died at the age of 45 in 1754 in Hackensack, Bergen County, New Jersey USA.

Female Maritie Ackerman
Maritie was born on February 25th, 1700 in Hackensack, Bergen County, NJ and her baptism took place on February 25th, 1700.  She died at the age of 55 in 1755 in Hackensack Bergen County, New Jersey USA.

Male John Allen
John was born on October 1st, 1727 in Hackensack, Bergen, New Jersey. He died after 1786 in Burton, Sunbury County, New Brunswick.

Female Hillegond Allen
Hillegond was born in June 1729 in Hackensack, Bergen County, NJ and her baptism took place on June 3rd, 1729.

Male Abraham Allen
Abraham was born about 1731 in Hackensack,  Bergen Co., NJ.

Male Thomas Allen
Thomas was born in April 1733 in Hackensack, Bergen County, NJ and his baptism took place on April 15th, 1733.

Female Marytjen Mary Allen
Marytjen was born in December 1740 in Hackensack, Bergen, New Jersey and her baptism took place on January 1st, 1741.
