Pieter Laurens was born in 1665 and his baptism took place on January 1st, 1666 in Dutch Reformed Church, Constable Hook, Bergen County, NJ. Pieter Laurens' father was Laurens Andriessen Van Buskirk and his mother was Jannetje Jans Barentsen.  His paternal grandfather was Andries Van Buskirk.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 73 on July 31st, 1738 in Hackensack, Bergen County, NJ.
