  " Richard Perkins age 75 years ,died at Centreville , Carleton Co. , 15th inst. The old gentleman had gone to , as was his daily custom, into his field to pray. In a short time his voice noticed suddenly to cease and upon his son -in-law going to the spot, he was found lying on the ground in an insensible state; removed to his house he died in about two hours. Apoplexy was doubtless the cause of death.."
