Thomas was born in 1848.  Thomas' father was Zepheniah Mills and his mother was Mary Foster.  He had two brothers and four sisters, named William, Winslow, Harriett, Mary, Rosannah and Hannah.  He was the youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 8 on May 20th, 1856 in Tracey Mills, Carleton Co., NB.
